The story behind Paws Fantasy — why we do what we do, and the love that inspires everything we create.
It Started with Wida
Paws Fantasy began with Wida Wolfsindis Skyone, our beautiful Doberman and an unforgettable part of our family.
Wida grew up alongside our daughter, becoming her companion through everyday adventures and the difficult Covid years. Later, Wida was diagnosed with lymphoma. After three years of treatment, we said goodbye to her in September 2024.
After losing her, I searched for something that could keep a little piece of her with us. I didn’t simply want her picture or name on something.
My good friend Eason created a portrait that captured not just how she looked, but who she was. That portrait became the beginning of Paws Fantasy.
The Warmth We Felt Was Missing
Years working alongside leading European pet brands taught me what great pet products can be: thoughtful, well-designed and made to last.
But there was something mass production could rarely capture:
Our pets have names, personalities, favourite places, funny habits and expressions we would recognise anywhere. They are family.

Losing Wida changed the way we think about the time we have with our pets.
We often look for ways to remember them once they are gone. We believe celebrating them should begin much earlier — in the walks, cuddles, muddy paws, birthdays, adventures and ordinary moments that one day become extraordinary memories.

Growing With a Purpose
Wida’s three-year journey with lymphoma also opened our eyes to the reality of cancer in companion animals.
Paws Fantasy is still young, and meaningful impact takes time. But as we grow, we want our ability to give back to grow with us.
Our long-term ambition is to support animal-health organisations and help raise awareness of cancers affecting our pets — contributing, in our own way, to more healthy days together.
